Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County builds homes in partnership with hard-working, low-income families and individuals in Anderson County. Future homeowners must submit an application, and they are selected by an unbiased committee of volunteers, based on need, ability to pay, and willingness to partner with Habitat. After construction is completed, houses are sold at cost to partnering homeowners, with no-interest mortgages. Monthly mortgage payments that are set at an affordable amount are required.
